Registration is requested although the cost of the dharma talk will be by donation.
Tony Tavares is a registered yoga teacher, registered acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, acupuncture and meditation teacher and mindfulness counsellor. He is the founder and director of Norwood Holistic Health Centre. Tony is on the faculty of Soghrati Yin Yoga Teacher Training and offers retreats within Ontario.

What is SoulCollage®?
SoulCollage® is a creative, fun tool for easy, artful self-expression. It was developed by Seena B. Frost, M. Div., M.A.
Using intuition and imagination, you create your own deck of collaged cards, where each card reflects a different aspect of who you are.The cards are made from simple materials: magazine images, scissors, glue, and mat board.
This soul-tending practice honors one’s personal journey, while promoting personal growth and self-acceptance. Best of all, it is a creative process that is truly accessible to everyone, even people who believe they have no artistic ability.
SoulCollage® is unique because once an individual card has been created, there is still much to be discovered. Through journaling, visualization and other activities, you are invited to step deeper into each card and discover how it relates to your inner and outer world. And through readings, you can use your deck to answer questions that can help you to navigate more smoothly through your daily life.

Explore How to build a better relationship with ourselves to find our true innate goodness—to truly love all parts of ourselves —the pleasant, unpleasant, experiences and hold them in our hearts.

BREATH AND BODY PRACTICES FOR ANXIETY

Everyone suffers from mild anxiety from time to time, but chronic anxiety not only can disrupt your life, but it can take a toll on the body creating an underlying state of tension and emotional fatigue. Anxiety can affect the breath, which may be constricted, the body through chronic muscle tension and the mind with thoughts that may spin out of control.
This workshop will introduce gentle movement to relieve tension, plus breath awareness and restorative poses to promote emotional balance. No experience is necessary but the ability to get down onto the floor is necessary.
RESTORATIVE YOGA MELTDOWN

Relax. Renew. Restore. Take some time for you. Melt into a series of gentle supported postures to activate the parasympathetic nervous system. Allow the body to find deep rest and connect to a heightened state of physical and emotional well being. Gentle yoga movements will release tension and realign the body's energy. A deep meditative state is facilitated as the body and mind surrender into bliss.
